My Journey in Numbers….

I have been back at work for two days after 13 months off and thought it would be fitting to give an updated version of my journey in numbers:
On the road for….275 days (39.3 weeks)
Flights taken….47Kilometers flown….121,500 km (it’s 40,078 km to go around the world)

Kilometers driven….I don’t even know how to begin to track this. It should be in the thousands. Some 3541+ km were driven on a return trip from NYC to Sydney, Nova Scotia. This number does not count all kilometers that I travelled via bus and train in SEAsia and Europe.Flying time….124 hours, 17 minutesTime spent hanging out in airports….80 hours

Kilometers walked….hundreds and hundreds in SE Asia, 500+ km on the El Camino in Spain and many more in Italy, Germany, San Francisco, Vancouver, DC & NYC

Countries passed through…13Countries visited….11Elephants ridden….4

Unique airports visited….27

Unique hotels visited….67

Lost luggage….0

Lost/stolen pairs of socks….0

Lost/stolen underwear….6 (more undies than socks?)

Flip Flops/Sandals worn out….5

Shoes worn out….2

Beers consumed….countless

Money spent….I don’t want to think about it and it’s not worth the mental effort. In return for the money spent, I have a lifetime of experiences which are priceless!
